“ We went for a business/friendly catch-up lunch. I ordered the Nashy hot chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken patty was delicious; the hot sauce was perfect for me (spicy but not too hot!) and we especially loved the offset of the sweet flavor of the house relish. It was served on Texas toast. The fries were crispy and hot. Our server was very friendly and attentive and the prices were fair. You can't park in the back lot so parking is on the street which was not a huge problem at midday during the week but not sure how that would fare on a weekend. It was chilly inside the restaurant and the door opening to a low 30's day made it just a bit uncomfortable. The decor and ambience is well done. ”
“ Husband and I just had lunch at this new restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, quality of the food, and the employees! The Asst. Manager, Gerry, sat down with us for a while to discuss the restaurant and our server, Tyler, was super friendly and attentive! They are booking live music now for Fridays to Sundays and first show is from 2 to 5 pm. We'll be back on Father's Day and many more days in the future! Oh, and try the hush puppies - more like hot donuts with butter scallion and honey sauce! Yumm-o! ”
“ We just discovered this place and we couldn’t be happier. Great cocktail options and whiskey selection, super nice atmosphere and the staff are fantastic. They also have excellent HH deals, daily socials and live music as well as line dancing! ”
“ Went here to eat for the first time on Saturday at 12:00 noon so it was pretty quiet when we were eating.... They have a large stage and plenty of seating inside for the happy hour and night time music events which I am looking forward to returning to check out. We ordered one appetizer and two meals and all were great.... Salmon toast appetizer along with the smoked barbecue brisket sandwich and the bowl... We even ordered a butcher smashburger to go to take home to our son since we were so impressed with the food quality.... Topped it off with a stout beer from Brewers Alley and it made for a great lunch. ”
“ We have been here twice and both visits were excellent. The menu is great - we love the concept of upscale Southern food with a twist. Hands down the best wedge salad I have ever had, but we haven’t had a single menu item that disappointed us, it’s all delicious. Atmosphere is amazing, especially on a beautiful day with the garage door open. And service both times we went has been excellent. ”
“ Had a great meal that included fried green tomatoes, the Devilish Ham sandwich, and the chicken and waffles. The food was fantastic. Southern staples with a modern spin. The deconstructed remoulade on the fried greens was novel and provided a tart and creamy foil to the fresh garden tastes of the tomatoes. The drinks are not to be overlooked either. I watched as two different bartenders made my drinks., one after the other, and the results were surprisingly, crisp, fruity, and consistent (Buffalo Sunset). The atmosphere is warm and classic, with an industrial vibe, while the staff was friendly and shared memories of the building and former establishments from their youth. ”
“ Had a wonderful brunch experience at Bentztown. As a long-time Frederick City resident, I love it when a restaurant brings some new flavors to the area. Bentztown has a modern American menu with a Nashville twist. Everything from the drinks and food to the decor and music reflect this Nashvillian flair and I appreciate their commitment to the theme. The food we ordered was excellent and the menu had options for most dietary restrictions. I thoroughly enjoyed the Mushroom Biscuits and Gravy as well as the Deviled Eggs and Hush puppies. The drinks were great and I appreciate that they offered mocktails and cocktails as well as a fairly extensive bourbon and whiskey list. I can't wait to go back to try their other offerings. ”
“ First time visiting this place! I could tell from the customer service that this would be a great experience! We were greeted immediately with a smile from the hostess and our waiter Chris was very attentive to our large group. The space is well lit and can definitely accommodate large groups as well as individuals with plenty of room. I ordered the Mac 'N' Cheese and added the BBQ Brisket. I also ordered the Sticky Chickie Biscuit to go to try later. The Mac 'N' Cheese was delicious! It had crushed barbecue chips and was flavored well. I wish the brisket was more lean but it was still tasty. Later in the evening I ate the Sticky Chickie Biscuit and it was also great! This is truly meant to eat with a knife and fork because the fluffy biscuit breaks apart (wonderfully!) along with the Jezebel sauce. I did not care for the smoky pickle but that did not ruin the meal. I will definitely visit again! ”
